The Leader:
In my university experience, I was presented with various opportunities to work with a diverse group of individuals on several projects. Through these experiences, I realized the significance of effective coordination and communication within a team setting. Initially, I faced challenges in delegating tasks and placing trust in my team members.
My goal was to improve my leadership and communication skills within a team setting. I recognized the importance of effective coordination and communication in achieving the desired outcome of a project and wanted to develop these skills. I knew that by working on projects with diverse teams, I could practice my leadership and communication abilities and gain valuable experience in this area.
To achieve this goal, I sought guidance and support from mentors and participated in leadership training programs. Through these experiences, I learned to identify individual team members’ strengths and assign tasks accordingly, which improved the overall efficiency of the team and enhanced communication between team members. I also developed conflict resolution techniques to handle group dynamic issues when they arose.
My specific goals when leading teams were:
