Jesse Pickering, DraftID

Hi, I’m Jesse.

I’m an industrial designer and additive-manufacturing specialist on the Gold Coast, with 15+ years in CAD and technical design. I hold a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Griffith University (graduated with distinction) and I’m a Certified SolidWorks Professional.

Before going full time on DraftID, I worked as an industrial designer at an engineering firm, designing production machinery and running and servicing the company’s 3D printing equipment. Now DraftID is my full-time focus: a fabrication studio serving the Gold Coast to Brisbane, and a YouTube channel with over 20,000 subscribers covering the AI tools, printers and machines behind the work. I’ve also taught SolidWorks as a sessional lecturer at Griffith University.
