Multi-colour uses up to 9 solid filament colours in one print, great for logos, signage and models. Full colour blends over 10 million colours, like a photo, for figurines and lifelike models. From early 2027 it can also mix full colour with clear sections in one print.

03Full-colour 3D printing

Full colour, straight off the printer.

Most print services give you one colour, or a few filament colours at most. Full-colour printing blends over 10 million colours through the print itself, so figures, models and prototypes come out looking finished, with no painting. Very few print services in Australia offer it.

Available now on the HeyGears G1X prototype, using the enclosed bed for prints up to 330 × 130 × 150 mm
